The Seine River School Division’s policies, procedures, and accompanying forms are available for public reference on this website.
The initiation and review of new and existing policies and procedures is an ongoing process that reflects the operational needs of the division and is maintained through extensive
consultation with stakeholder groups such as parents, staff, students, and community
members.
Documents used to govern and administrate the affairs of the school division
Policies – are established by the Board of Trustees and provide the rules, principles, guidelines or frameworks for the division. They are formulated to direct or influence all major decisions made within the division and keep all activities within a set of established boundaries.
Procedures – are established by the division, through the Superintendent, and guide the
implementation of divisional policies or other routine system operations.
Forms – are documents that provide necessary information and/or establish the necessary permissions for the division to conduct its business within the bounds set by both policy and procedure.
