Seine River School Division is committed to supporting the mental health and well-being of all students through a comprehensive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive approach. Supports are embedded within a whole-school wellness framework and include:

Learning Support Teachers
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to identify and support students with diverse learning needs.
- Provide individualized strategies that promote emotional regulation and academic success.
- Support inclusive education practices aligned with the Manitoba Framework for Learning.

Occupational Therapy
- Available to support students with sensory regulation, motor skills, and functional participation in school activities.
- OT services are integrated into school routines to promote self-regulation and reduce barriers to learning.

School Psychologists
- Conduct assessments to identify learning and mental health needs.
- Support individualized education planning and provide consultation to school teams.
- Promote trauma-informed practices and culturally sensitive approaches to student support

School Social Workers
- Provide direct support to students and families navigating mental health, trauma, and social-emotional challenges.
- Facilitate access to community-based services and crisis supports.
- Lead implementation of programs such as Sources of Strength, DBT, and Safe Talk.
- Engage in culturally responsive practices, including respect for Indigenous ways of knowing and Truth and Reconciliation.
