Ward 1 Candidate Neil Reavely
Hello my name is Neil Reavely
I am very excited to announce that I have put my name forward as a candidate to be elected and represent the families of Ward 1 in Seine River School Division.
I have lived in the community for over 50 years and also completed my own schooling thru Seine River. I have been actively involved thru out the years giving back by coaching and taking part in various forms of volunteering.
I have worked as an educational assistant in the school system for over 25 years and feel that would be a definite asset. During my EA time I have been able to take leadership courses and be involved in various ways giving back to the community. After all what is the school system but a huge community of teachers, parents, staff all working together to help shape the leaders of tomorrow.
My roles as a trustee would not be taken lightly as I need to be able to advocate between the member of the community and the board, making sure schools are safe for both students and staff, all students having the same opportunity to learn and be successful and holding the superintendent and leadership teams accountable for decisions made at the board levels.
I promise to be actively involved and a strong voice for my Ward, ensuring the best possibilities for our families and success of our students
