Ward 3 Candidate Krystyn Zaretski
Krystyn Zaretski is a longtime Ste. Anne resident, Mother of three school age children, community volunteer, and experienced leader who believes strong schools are at the heart of strong communities.
For more than 20 years, Krystyn has worked in leadership roles within the banking industry, including over a decade in compliance leadership. Her career has been built around accountability, sound decision-making, working with people, and finding practical solutions to complex issues.
Closer to home, Krystyn has been an active member of the community, including serving on her school's Parent Advisory Council (PAC) and the Ste. Anne Police Board. These experiences have strengthened her appreciation for listening to residents, asking good questions, and making decisions that reflect the needs of the people being represented.
Krystyn is running for school trustee because she wants families in our communities to have a strong voice at the board table. She believes trustees should be approachable, accountable, open to different perspectives, and committed to working constructively with parents, educators, administration, and fellow trustees.
Her goal is simple: to listen, represent the community responsibly, and help ensure our schools provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
