School attendance is a critical factor to a productive and successful school career. We encourage parents and guardians to be actively involved in promoting their child’s attendance at school.
What if my child will be absent from school?
If your child is sick and will be absent from school, we request that parents contact the school by phone (422-8762) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) to advise the office of their child's absence. If you are calling outside of normal office hours, please leave a message on the school's voicemail.
What if my child will be arriving late for school?
If your child will be arriving late for school, we once again request that parents contact the school by phone or email to advise the office that their child will be arriving late. Students who are late, must report to the office for a late slip before proceeding to class.
Between 9:00-9:30 am and 12:45-1:00 pm every day, the school will contact parents of any absent students for whom the school has not received a phone call or email indicating their child will be absent. Of course, we'd prefer to keep call backs to a minimum and would greatly appreciate it if parents contact the school by phone or email if their child will be absent.
