École Lorette Immersion School is a French Immersion milieu school with a population of 328 students from Kindergarten to Grade 8. Our program is for Anglophone students who would like to learn French as a second language. Our school offers a strong academic program and we believe it is important to offer opportunities for our students to develop a healthy lifestyle and make wise choices. We are very proud of all our clubs and our sports program which includes cross-country running, volleyball, basketball, badminton, baseball, track and field, etc.
ELI school uses a collaborative approach for the planning and delivery of programs. We invite feedback from the community, the staff and the students regularly. Parents are represented by a Parent Advisory Council and are involved in the decision-making process in many areas.
Parents are invited to our monthly assemblies which are occasions to celebrate our students’ achievements as well as opportunities to showcase their progress in French language and culture. Many of our students receive awards and recognition for designated skills or abilities as well as Academic Achievement certificates for their outstanding academic performances. A large number of our students participate in extra-curricular activities such as clubs and team sports which are all organized by our staff and parent volunteers.
École Lorette Immersion is home to the “Frère Jacques” Nursery School Program.
