All new students requiring bus transportation must submit a Request for Transportation Form. Any changes to transportation needs for address changes or childcare needs will require a new Transportation Request to be submitted directly to their school.
Students are only permitted transport on their assigned bus unless otherwise authorized by the transportation office. Requests for alternate transportation are subject to approval due to seat availability and the transportation needs of the students. These requests must be submitted by email to firstname.lastname@example.org a minimum of 24 hours in advance.
Except in the case of emergencies, our transportation personnel will not be returning calls to parents during the time our busses are on the road during the morning and afternoon runs. The busses are on the road between 7:00am and 9:00am and 3:00pm and 5:00pm.
School bus cancellations will be posted on the division website along with a notice to local radio stations such as CJOB 680AM and Steinbach 96.7FM. While these notices are usually posted between 6:00am and 6:30am, the decision to close schools may happen later due to a turn in the weather. Parents are advised to check the website often on days that conditions are poor due to fog, blowing snow, ice covered roads, and/or -45 degree temperatures.
